Waltham Abbey Garden Wall
TL 3800 NW 1/14 3.2.71.
Late Cl5 or early Cl6. Red brick wall wmth steeply pitched coping of stretchers
laid on end. Black brick cross in wall above steps. Steep ramp up to former
gateway at south end.

Church of the Holy Cross and St Lawrence, Abbey Gateway, Midnight Chapel and
Harolds Bridge, Walls of Abbey and Chapter House, Garden Wall and the Vicarage
form a group.
