Early Cl9 cottage orne of colourwashed roughcast with thatched roof. Single
storey, ogee arched leaded casement windows. Wide eaves supported by rough painted
wooden posts. Circular window in gable above entrance porch.

Upshire Hall and Lodge form a group with Southend Farmhouse.
