Cottage - was farmhouse. C16 or earlier house and crosswing with C18 extension
to rear and C19 single storey lean-to to left. Red plain tiled roof with slate
clad extension. 2 storeys. C20 window to extension and C20 half-glazed door
with side lights. Small paned casement to crosswing first floor. Crosswing
with angled eaves hipped, grey slate clad bay window to right return. Central
attached diagonal red brick chimney stack. Internally there are very heavy
stop chamfered beams possibly of late C13 or early C14 date with ovolo
mouldings, and a brace. The basement of the C18 addition was used for cattle.
