TL 50 NW BOBBINGWORTH GAINSTHORPE ROAD
1/11 Nos 38 and 39

2 cottages. Formerly one C17 or earlier house. Timber framed with
weatherboarded ground floor and plastered first floor. Hipped, red plain tiled
roof, 2 storeys, 4 window range of C19 and C20 casements. 2 C20 board doors
with square lights. Off-centre red brick chimney stack. Internally some jowled
storey posts are visible and heavy, stop chamfered bridging joists and top
plates of good quality. Some C18 and C19 doors remain.
