GV II

House Cl8 with Cl9 additions and alterations. Brick built with York Stone
rusticated quoins and crosswing to ground floor, moulded central band, plain
band to eaves cornice, with double lion mask brackets to eaves. Hipped, grey
slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 window range of ΒΌ paned vertical sliding sashes.
First floor with moulded surrounds, ground floor with moulded surrounds and
scroll brackets to moulded flat canopies and cills. The cills with cast iron
posts and rails. Central enclosed porch with glazed, double doors, approached
by steps with 4 urns, moulded pilasters, dentilled frieze with paterae and
double scroll brackets to dentilled and moulded cornice. Plastered chimney
stacks to left and right. To the rear is a C19 range, with bay windows and
hipped grey slate roof. Fine internal staircase and mouldings.
