Cattle yard and housing. Late C19/early C20. A very large, approx. 120-150ft.
long x 40ft. wide complex. The 2 attached roofs are hipped and pantile clad,
that to the yard being much higher than the red brick housing range. This range
with 15 doors facing into the yard, and with brick piers supporting the North
of the yard roof. 14, moulded, cast iron columns with capitals and bases
support the S side of the roof, the construction of which is timber tie beams
to brick pillar and iron column surmounted by fully framed Queen posts with
King Posts to the apex. A most unusual building for this County.
