TL 40 SE THEYDON GARNON FIDDLERS HAMLET

GV II

House, probably C15 open hall and 2 crosswings, all incorporated under a main
roof. Timber framed and parget plastered, with the upper storey jettied
brackets to left and right. Red plain tiled hipped roof with end gablets.
2 storeys. 3 window range to first floor of three and four light, C17 iron
casement windows with leaded panes. 3 window range to ground floor of mixed
C19 and C20 casements including a triangular oriel to left and C20 shutters
to central and right windows. C20 door, with small paned glazing to upper half.
One off centre and one right external red brick chimney stacks. C16/17
fireplace with oak lintel and carved spandrels.
