House, C17, now a public house, extended in C19 and C20. Timber framed,
roughcast rendered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 4 bays aligned approx.
NE-SW with axial chimney stack in second bay from NE, external chimney stack
at SW end. Single storey extension forward (SE) from bay with chimney stack,
external chimney stack on NE side, C19. Single storey extension to NE, C20,
weatherboarded, roofed with asphalt tiles. Single storey with attics. 2 C20
doors, 2 horizontally sliding sash windows of 8 lights, late C19, one C20
casement window, one double-hung sash window of 12 lights, late C19, in gable
end of SE extension. First floor, 2 C20 casement windows. Plain chamfered
beams, with lamb's tongue stops in SW bay only.
