Abbess Roding Hall

Granary. C16 or earlier, timber framed, 3 bay building with later red, Flemish
bond brick, gabled outhouse at E end. Half hipped peg tile roof. Timber frame
infilled with brick nogging in square panels. E wall has English bond brick-
work with header course of grey bricks. Interior shows halved and bridled scarf
joint and large braces to one tie beam.
