House. C17/18, possibly earlier. 2 storey timber framed and plastered house.
Front range of late C18 facing lane, with long rear range at right angles with
gabled crosswing at E end. Flat roofed, 2 storey modern extension and 2 slate
roofed lean-to's to rear range and 'L' shaped single storey slate roofed service
block. Front block has gabled peg tile roof and 2 red brick, gable end stacks
and is of 5 bays of double hung sashes with glazing bars with 6/6 small panes.
Off-centre simple pedimented open porch with original 6 raised and fielded
panel door with top 4 panels replaced with glass. Rear blocks have gabled peg
tile roofs, 2 ridge line brick stacks and a mixture of old leaded light
casements sash windows and C19 casements. Interior has exposed timber frame in
rear block and good late C18 staircase.
