TL 60 SW HIGH ONGAR NORTON LANE,

House. Early C16, timber framed and plastered with red plain tile hipped roof.
2 storeys. 4 window range C20 casements. C16 red brick chimney stack partly
rebuilt. Frame exposed internally. Storey posts have jowls and cut bearings.
Heavy internal wall bracing. Arch braced side purlin roof. Soffit tenons with
diminished haunches to floor joists. Some original window positions with
mortices for diamond mullions, and 2 cross-entry doorways with Tudor arches.
