House

GV II

House. Late C16 or early C17, timber framed and plastered with weatherboarded
sides, and red plain tile roof, hipped to south. 2 storeys. 3 window range,
C20 casements at first floor and C19 canted bays to ground floor, with vertical
sliding sashes. C19 gabled porch with bargeboards and plaster relief, depicting
Little Laver Mill and initials WHP 1866. North end has decorative bargeboards
with pendant and finial. Later extensions at rear, possibly incorporating
original staircase tower, and with red plain tile roofs, one gambrel.
