House, C16 timber framed and plastered with lower floor on south clad with black
weatherboarding. Gabled peg tile roof with stack against east gable and older
stack through front roof slope near west end. Hipped lean-to with peg tiles
against west end and peg tile lean-to rendered block against back at east end.
Central C20 gabled peg tile roofed porch on front, windows are C20 casments.
Late medieval open hall house with arch brace in parlour partition, large,
jowled storey posts in hall and single storey service block. Two storey framing
at 'high' east end. Inglenook fireplace at west end of hall, remains of framed
partition in 'high' end. Unusual example of open hall with full two storey 'in-
line' ancillary accommodation with raised roof line.
