House, early C15, timber framed and plastered and of one storey with attics
and a two storey crosswing at west end and C20 two storey extension behind east
end. Roofs are gabled in clay peg tiles. Rebuilt stack of C17 angled shaft
type, against east flank of crosswing. Gabled C20 enclosed porch off-centre
on front elevation and C20 casements with leaded lights. Large low mounted
dormer on rear roof slope. Crosswing has simple bargeboards and side purlin
roof and internally moulded post to main hall spine beam, inserted C16 floor and
former open hall of one wide bay and one narrow. Crosswing probably C15 with
crownpost with flat moulded capital and base, arch braces and tiebeam without
arch braces.
