6/29 Brookend Farmhouse

Cottage, mid C17-late C17, timber framed and plastered with hipped, near
pyramidical peg tile roof with central ridgeline stack. Of two storeys with
peg tile roofed lean-to at west end, former shop. Front has 2 light C20 case-
ments above a central door with original lead hipped hood, porch and 2 similar
casement windows. Box frame timberframed house, without jowls and with halved
and bladed scarf joists of the baffle-entry type. Inglenook fireplace opening
to east room. One old plank door with 4 star shaped ventilator piercings.
