House and former forge. Mid C17 and timber framed and plastered with peg tile
roof, gabled at south and half hipped at north end. At south end is a lean-to
of boarding covering an arch topped inglenook type fireplace with wrought iron
arched lintol bars. Exterior has a mixture of C19 and C20 casements. Interior
shows timber framing of mid C17 with stop-chamfered bridging joists framing
stack opening.
