House, mid C17, timber framed and plastered but with black boarded gable ends.
Roof is of peg tiles and gabled with continuous lean-to at rear, part
contemporary and with asbestos roof. Off-centre, rectangular stack behind ridge
line. Of two storeys, the first floor has two, 2 light C19 casements with small
panes and a C20 casement. The ground floor has two, 3 light C20 casements with
large, square, panes a simple entrance door and a small C20 casement. Interior
reveals box framing of 2 bays with unjowled posts and stop chamfered bridging
joists. 'Essex corner cupboard' of late C18/early C19 with ogee head,
serpentine shelf, fitted cupboard and curved crest of shelving. Some C18
panelled doors with architraves.
