Listing Text

the stables


Stable block, C18, of Rolls Park (demolished), now a house. Stock brick, roofed
with handmade red clay tiles. Flemish bond at front, English bond at rear.
9 bays aligned approx. NE-SW, aspect SE, with C20 extension to rear of sw end.
Single storey. Each bay has a shallow round-arched recess, the central bay
containing a C20 door, the others containing C20 windows. Hipped roof. Central
open cupola with square dome. Symmetrical elevation.
