House, C17, extended in C19 and C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with
handmade red clay tiles. 4 bays aligned approx. NE-SW, aspect SE, with axial
chimney stack in second bay from NE end and external chimney stack at SW end.
Rear extensions, C19. Long single-storey extension to front of NE end, reaching
to road (the shop and Post Office) clad with weatherboards, with low-pitched
slate roof. 2 storeys. Ground floor, central semi-octagonal glazed porch,
C20, one C20 casement window to SW of it, the remainder covered by shop
extension. First floor, 3 C20 casement windows. Band of convex moulded plaster
below eaves along whole length of front.
