Small mansion, late C18 and of creamy gault bricks with a hipped slate roof
behind parapets. Front is of 5 bays of double hung sashes with small square
panes and flat rubbed brick arches. At the west end is a two storey canted
bay of brick with double hung sash windows. The off-centre door has a semi-
circular arch over, with cast iron radiating fan pattern fanlight and paired
panelled narrow pilasters. The original door is 6 panelled and there is a
flight of steps. On the ridge line are 3 small stacks and at the east end,
a lower two storey purple brick block with a single double hung sash over a
tripartite double hung sash window. The interior has decoration including a
fireplace of Adamesque style.
