TL 81 SE GREAT BRAXTED BRAXTED PARK ROAD

4/42 Great Braxted Hall

GV II

House. C17/C18 or earlier origin with early C19 facing. Timber framed and
plastered. Red plain tiled roofs. Forward gabled crosswings to right and left
with curved pierced bargeboards on brackets. Centre finials. 2 red brick
chimney stacks. 1:2:1 window range of small paned vertical sliding sashes to
first floor, long 2 light casements with glazing bars to ground floor, those to
right and left gables with drawn external shutters. Central 4 panel 2 light
door with reveal panels. Door and all windows with small flat canopies on
carved brackets.
