between Lodge Cottages
Nos. 1 and 2 qv. 4/61,

GV II

Double entrance gates with side and centre panels. Cast and wrought iron. C19.
Panels attached to Lodges Nos 1 and 2 support the double entrance and exit
gates, matching central panels. Each gate and panel of 6 panels with double
reversed inverted scrolls, daisy and leaf terminals to scrolls. Raised scroll
work to top of gates. Plain rails to centre panels. The curved drive leads
into the main double avenue of lime trees which crosses the lake and leads to
Braxted Park House, the whole forming an important visual feature.
