TL 81 SE LITTLE TOTHAM OFF PARK WOOD LANE

GV II

Cottage, probably the remains of a larger building. C16/C17 or earlier. Timber
framed and plastered. Red plain tiled gambrel roof with 2 gabled dormers. To
right a large external red brick chimney stack with 2 attached diagonal shafts.
One storey and attics. 2 window range of C20 small paned casements, that to
right a bay with red tiled porch extending over C20 plank and muntin central
door. 2 in-line ranges and a crosswing to rear right all with gambrel roofs.
Restored inglenook fireplace with moulded jambs and moulded stop chamfered
mantel beam. Chamfered bridging joists. Heavy joist to rear wing. Through
bracing to some walls. C18 doors with wrought catches and hinges. Moated site.
