4/200 Godfrey's Farmhouse


House. C17 or earlier rear ranges, early C19 front range of red brick, red
plain tiled roof. Right and left red brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys. 3
window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes with gauged brick arches.
Central 6 panelled door. Semi-circular light with glazing bars and red brick
arch over. 3 gabled rear ranges, bake oven to rear right chimney stack, this
range at one time a brewhouse/dairy. Heavy stop chamfered bridging joists,
heavy studding to some rooms. 2 original 4 board doors with hand wrought
hinges. Inglenook fireplaces.
