TL 81 SW WICKHAM BISHOPS LANGFORD ROAD

1/95 Reigate Cottage

GV II

Cottage. C15 or earlier origin with C17 and C20 alterations and additions.
Timber framed and plastered. Square C20 tiles to roof with 2 gabled dormers.
Central red brick chimney stack. One storey and attic with hipped single storey
extensions to left and right. 2 window range of small paned casements. C20
half glazed door to right. The original bay has heavy halved and pegged arch
braces to ground floor wall and signs of similar bracing to first floor,
chamfered bridging joists, jowled storey posts and part of an original doorway.
Through bracing to extensions.
