TL 80 SW WOODHAM MORTIMER MALDON ROAD

Stables. C16/C17. Red brick. Red plain tiled roof with 2 gabled dormers.
Buttressed to rear (north). One storey and loft. Chamfered and moulded brick
3 light windows with moulded labels over to left aid right return gable. 3
similar large 3 light brick windows to south face with labels over. 2 chamfered
and moulded brick doorways, that to right restored, timber frame and lintel. 5
board door to right, lapped vertically boarded door to left. Moulded brick
plinth. Heavy chamfered bridging joists to loft floor. No entry at time of
re-survey. One of the few red brick barns of this period in Essex and part of
the original complex.
