Cottage. Early C17 or earlier with C18 and later alterations and additions.
Timber framed, part plastered, part weatherboarded. Red plain tiled roof.
External left and off centre right red brick chimney stacks, the latter with
attached square shafts. One storey and attics. 2 catslide dormers. 3 window
range of C20 small paned casements. Vertically boarded door with slanting
canopy. Restoration work in progress at time of resurvey. Inglenook fireplace
and C17 and C18 exposed timbers visible internally. The right bays may be of
earlier origin. Plinth bricks of possibly earlier origin. Roof timbers
numbered. RCHM 6.
