House. C15/C16 hall house with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
and plastered, with some exposed frame. Red plain tiled roofs. Large central
external red brick chimney stack with attached diagonal shafts. Gabled, jettied
crosswings with brackets to right and left. That to right with carved bressumer
and bracket. 2 storeys. 1:2:1 window range of C20 3 light leaded casements.
Vertically boarded door to right. Serpentine bracing to gable apex. Crown post
roof structure. C.A. Hewitt Development of Carpentry 1200-1700. RCHM 9.
