Granary, formerly an oast house. C19. Red brick, tall pyramidal red tiled
roof. A tall square plan building with loft floor. Doorway to west. Traces of
the original fitting of the oast floor visible on walls. An elderly villager
remembers the building as an oast house. A rare survival in Essex.
