GV II

Two cottages. C17 or earlier with later alterations. Timber framed and
weatherboarded. Red plain tiled gambrelled roof. 2 red brick chimney stacks.
Left lean-to, C20 right forward hipped single storey range. 2 storeys. 3
windows to first floor 1:5 to ground floor of mainly 2 or 3 light casements with
glazing bars, those to ground floor right double windows. C20 porch to right
range rear door to left. Dormer windows to rear. Acquired as parish workhouse
C18. Moulded post inscribed MFLE 1691.
