House, formerly cottages. C15/C16 origin with later alterations and additions.
Timber framed, part parget plastered, part weatherboarded. Red plain tiled
roof. Left and right red brick chimney stacks. Rear wing. 2 storeys. 4
window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes. Pentice boards over to
ground floor. C20 panelled door to right, moulded surround, flat canopy on
moulded brackets. Heavy, close set timber frame, chamfered bridging joists,
good quality staggered side purlin roof, pegged at ridge. 2 moulded 3 board
doors, one with original strap hinges, the other with renewed L hinges.
Inglenook fireplace. Newel staircase.
