House. Early C19 front range, C16 rear range with alterations and additions.
Front range C19 red brick, rear range C16 red brick with parapet verges to east
and west gables, 2 weatherboarded north facing gabled ranges. Red plain tiled
rear roofs. Ripped grey slate front range with right and left red brick chimney
stacks. 2 rear (north east and north west) chimney stacks each with 2 attached
diagonal shafts. 2 storeys. Front, 3 window range of small paned vertically
sliding sashes with gauged brick arches. Central panelled door with traceried
light over, reveal panels, fluted surround, moulded and dentilled semi-circular
flat canopy. 2 step approach. Internally many timbers are exposed including
jowled storey posts and ceiling joists with decorative carvings. Stick baluster
staircase and panelled doors to front range. RCHM 3.
