C18 house in red brick with red plain tile roof. Two storeys. Three window
range double hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. Those at first
floor C18 and early C19 to ground floor. Original doorway has rectangular
fanlight. Red brick chimney stack on end wall. Formerly "Anson's School"
in C18. Brick inscribed "R. ROSS 1776".
