Mid C16 house, timber-framed and weatherboarded. Two storeys with attic.
Gabled crosswings at each end. Red plain tile roof. Six window range, mullioned
and transomed windows, mostly C19. Three hipped dormers, and pyramidal roofed,
open bellcote with bell on centre ridge. Two storey gabled porch, jettied
on 3 sides, with open ground floor having 4 centred arch. Original side
windows, and door with ironmongery. Three light transomed oriel window,
surmounted by pediment, above porch. Original C16 red brick chimneys to
sides and rear, with diagonal shafts. Internally many original features
remain, including panelling, 4 centred stone fireplace, and staircase. Also
C17 and C19 panelling and a large C17 bolection moulded stone fireplace at
first floor. Numerous original doors.
