6/144 No. 72 Ivy Cottage,

Cottage. Circa 1500. Brick base, exposed timber frame with brick nogging
infill to front jettied first floor gable end, weatherboarded first floor
returns. C20, weatherboarded extensions set back to right and left. Red plain
tiled roof. Central red brick chimney stack. Single small paned windows to
front gable, first floor horizontal sliding sash, ground floor fixed with
external shutters. C20 small paned windows to right and left extensions, garage
door to left, C20 door with small paned top light to right. 2 storeys. 2 bays
and chimney bay. Arched braces to to cambered tie beams. Halved wall bracing
to first floor. Run out stops to moulded bridging joist. 2 armed crown post bridging joist. 2 armed crown post
roof. Cambered mantel beam to ingelnook fireplace.
