TM 02 NE ELMSTEAD THE CHASE

3/20 Lodge Farmhouse,(formerly
known as Elmstead Lodge)

House. C18 front range, C17 or earlier rear ranges. Painted brick front range
with hipped red plain tiled roof. Timber framed and plastered 2 storey rear
ranges gabled with a crosswing and a single storey range to north, this with red
brick square attached chimney shaft. Single stacks to rear of front ranges. The
front range has right and left recessed arches with inset windows to ground
floor, 3 windows to first floor, all small paned vertically sliding sashes.
Central open gabled porch, 6 panel 2 light door.
