Mile post. Late C19. Cast iron. Approx. one metre high, triangular plan. The
slanting head reads - London 57, east side - Colchester 6 Frating, west side -
Thorpe 6 Frating. One of the few surviving cast iron mile posts in Essex, most
of which are in Tendring District. Possibly by Lawford Ironworks.
