TM 02 SE GREAT BROMLEY CHAPEL LANE

6/61 The Thickets

Cottage. C16/C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber
framed and rough rendered. Thatched roof with one eyebrow dormer. Right
external chimney stack. One storey and attics. Left and right single storey
lean-to extensions. 0:3:1 various windows including horizontal sliding sashes
with segmental heads. C20 vertically boarded door with small light. Interior
features include, chamfered bridging joists and flat section ceiling beams.
Arched braces to walls. Probably RCHM 6.
