TM 12 NW GREAT BROMLEY HILLIARDS ROAD

4/67 Park Farmhouse

House. Late C17 with C19 alterations and C19/C20 right extension. Timber
framed, brick faced ground floor, rough rendered first floor. Red plain and
concrete tiled roof. Rear and external right chimney stacks. 2 storeys. The
original build has a 3 window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes,
2 window range of C20 small paned casements to right. C20 gabled porch and
door with side lights. C20 kitchen door to right extension. There is a brick
built single storey addition with roof hipped to right, the bricks are re-used
of C17/C18 origin. Internally part of the timber frame is exposed, side girts,
storey posts, top plates with halved and bladed scarfs and bridging joists.
2 heavy bridging joists in the hall appear to have been inserted at the time
the brick facing was added.
