TM 12 SW LITTLE BENTLEY RAVEN'S GREEN

7/88 Red Tiles

Cottage. Late C16. Timber framed and rough rendered. Red plain tiled roof.
Right and left external and central chimneys tacks. One storey and attics. 3
gabled dormers. 7 various ground floor windows including C19 small paned
horizontal sliding sashes. Off centre left vertically boarded door. C20 gabled
porch to right, plank and muntin door. Internally the frame is of 3 bays with
close set studs and halved arched braces, jowled storey posts, one with an
arched brace set into the central chimney stack. There are 3 original window
openings with shutter slots, to first floor front and rear walls, some with C20
inset casements. Halved and bladed top plate scarf. Stop chamfered bridging
joists to inserted floor. Original 3 board door with some repairs.
