6/32 Lodge Farmhouse

House. C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed and
rough rendered. Central band. Red plain tiled double range roofs with parapet
verges. Left, off centre right and rear chimney stacks. 2 storeys and attics.
4 window range of C20 4 light small paned casements and vertically sliding
sashes. Left 4 panelled 2 light door, simple surround. Dr. Dickin believed the
house to be of C15 origin, and it is thought to have been used as the Manor
House prior to Nicholas Magens erecting a brick Manor House (now demolished)
