GV II

Former sail loft. C19. Timber framed and weatherboarded. Grey slate roof,
bargeboards with finial. 2 storeys and loft. Ground floor shop front with
central double glazed doors, right and left 3 light windows. Right and left
small paned vertically sliding sashes and central double doors to first floor,
loft single window with glazing bars. This exterior as shown in postcard of
late C19. A viewing balcony with arch braced cast iron support columns was
erected early C20 when the building became a yacht club. Internally the frame
