House. C15/C16 with later alterations. Timber framed and plastered. Red plain
tiled roof. Left external and off centre right red brick chimney stacks. 2
storeys. Rear (south) face jettied to original build. 4 window range of C19
style 2 light casements with central glazing bars. Off centre right C20 porch,
glazed doors. Interior features include, large chimney stack with back to back
fireplaces now with C20 fire surround but with original mantel beam over. Stop
chamfered bridging and ceiling joists, jowled storey posts to ground and first
floors, one arched brace to tie beam the other brace removed for headroom.
Halved and bridled top plate scarf. RCHM 4.
