House. C16, altered in early C19. Timber framed, plastered; roofed with handmade red clay tiles. Four bays facing north east with axial stack in second bay from left end, forming a lobby-entrance. Two storeys. Ground floor, two early C19 sashes of sixteen lights and one of twelve lights, with crown glass. First floor, three late C19 sashes of four lights. Six-panel flush door, the top two panels glazed, early C19. C20 lean-to porch on right return. Chamfered binding beams with step stops mounted on half-height jowls, partly boxed in. Large wood-burning hearth facing to right, blocked, and equivalent hearth to right altered for a C20 grate. The walls have been raised approx. 2 metres, probably in the C18 or early C19.

A rear wing was present at the right end until c.1975. Oblique brick nogging is reported within the left return wall, not now visible.
