Cottage. C18/early C19. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with red clay
pantiles. 2 bays facing approx. SE, with an internal stack at the right end and
an external stack at the left end. C19/early C20 single-storey extension to
right with end stack. One storey with attics. 2 C19/early C20 casements. C20
door in rustic porch with gabled roof of corrugated iron. In right extension,
one C20 casement and one C20 door. Gambrel roof. Shown in the tithe award of
1841 (Essex Record Office D/CT 258).
