Public house, now a house. Early C19, extended in late C19. Red brick in
Flemish bond, roofed with slate. Rectangular plan facing SE, of 2 storeys with
attics. Single-storey stable range to right, roofed with red clay pantiles.
Large late C19 extension to left, mainly 2 storeys. Ground floor of main
building, 2 late C19 sashes of 6 lights, and central doorway converted to late
C19 sash of 4 lights. On first floor, wooden splayed oriel with late C19 sashes
of 4-6-4 lights. Attic, 2 late C19 sashes of 4 lights in gabled dormers with
wooden finials. Gambrel roof with parapet gables. C20 door in left extension.
The stable range has one halved door, one plain boarded door and one C20
casement. Attached to front of left extension, late C19 gas lamp on iron
bracket, converted to electricity. An inlet of the sea formerly extended to
Ramsey village, so the oriel would look out on it in all directions.
