Cottage. C.1600 and C19. Timber framed with white weatherboarding. Of 2
storeys, 2 bays with slate roofed lean-to on north side. Main block has peg
tile roof, gabled to east and hipped with gablet to west. Windows are C19 and
C20 small pane casements and there are 2 tall stacks rising from junction of
main and lean-to roofs. Small lean-to slated porch on north elevation.
Interior has jowled posts, internal serpentine bracing and halved and bladed
scarf joints. Cast iron C19 yard pump against north wall with ogee top and
fluted barrel. Range of timber framed and black weatherboarded peg tile roofed
implement sheds attached to east end.
