TL 61 SW HIGH EASTER SCHOOL LANE

3/40 The Cottage
21/7/75 (Formerly listed as Thatched
GV II Cottage)

Cottage. C18. Timber framed and plastered with a half-hipped thatched roof and
pantiled rear lean-to extension. White weatherboarding on greater part of east
end elevation. Of one storey and attics and at right angles to street.
Off-centre rectangular ridge line stack. Windows are C19 and C20 2 light
casements each with single horizontal glazing bars. Later but complete timber
framing of hedgerow timbers and double sided inglenook with remains of bread
oven.
