TL 61 SW HIGH EASTER THE STREET
(south side)

House. Mid C16. Timber framed and plastered with half-hipped pantile roof.
Former small in line open hall house with C17 inserted floor and parlour/solar
at north end. Of one storey with attics and at right angles to street. The
north end is jettied, with the framing exposed and 2 original jetty brackets.
Part of the west elevation is also of exposed framing. Off centre ridge line
stack of diagonal shafts over inglenook fireplace. Large gabled dormer in east
roof slope. windows are C20 diamond leaded light casements. Straightish
internal wall braces.
