Timber-framed and plastered house with C18 external features but said to have
been built on the C17 brick foundations of an earlier house (the Old Vicarage).
Two storeys and cellars. Three window range on the east front and 2 window
range on the north front, mainly of double-hung sashes with glazing bars.
The north front has a double bowed shop front with glazing bars and a central
doorway. Roof tiled, hipped. (RCHM 11).
